Counselling
We provide academic, admissions, personal, and career counselling. In addition to counselling, monthly workshops are held for students on various topics, such as time management, study skills, personal growth and development, and health issues.
Job Placement
The Centre offers free job placement services to BCC students and graduates. Placement includes resume writing assistance, interview preparation and job referrals for part-time, full-time and temporary openings.
Overseas Education Advisement
As the official overseas education advisement site for Education USA in Barbados, the Centre is open to BCC students and the general public. We have two overseas education advisers affiliated with NAFSA Association of International Educators. They are trained Education USA advisers qualified to assist students with higher education decisions and plans.

Resource Library
The Centre has over 650 texts to assist with college and career choices. Some of the references are reserved for use in the Centre, while others may be borrowed for up to two weeks.
Computer Facilities
Desktop computers with Internet access are available to BCC students as well as alumni registered with the Centre’s job placement service. Document printing and photocopying services are also available.
Academic Enhancement Centre
The Academic Enhancement Centre is an extension of the Counselling & Placement Centre. It is located in the Liberal Arts wing of the College. The Enhancement Centre provides tutorials in various subject areas as well as workshops designed to assist students in their transition into college from secondary school.
