BCC Goes Mobile

BCC Goes Mobile is an initiative developed by the Barbados Community College to interact with the public directly to educate and inform them about the programmes and courses offered at the College. The first event will be held on Saturday 13 April in Independence Square from 11:00 until 3:00 pm.

Prospective students who would have missed the deadline for the 2013-2014 Academic Year will be given an extended opportunity to enrol with the College. The BCC Goes Mobile Team will be distributing specially marked application forms to the post-secondary and adult population. These persons will be given a grace period to submit these applications to the College by Friday 19 April, 2013 and pay the late fee of $60.00. All application forms should be returned to the Office of Student Affairs and payments be made to the Accounts Department at the Eyrie Campus between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

During the four hour period, the public will get to interact with BCC Goes Mobile Teams from the Divisions of Commerce, Liberal Arts – Sociology Department, Technology and the Barbados Language Centre. The teams who make up the faculty of the College will be able to answer and provide information to the public on a number of subjects towards helping them achieve their academic or professional goals. The public will also be able to hear about the plan for Summer School and how they can enrol in a number of programmes offered during the period, including short courses for which their credits will be stored.

The Barbados Community College offers Post-Graduate Degree Diplomas, Bachelor Degrees, Post-Associate Degree Diplomas, Associate Degree (Majors), Associate Degree in Applied Arts and Science and Certificates in a number of disciplines.
