Re. Bridging Maths Course

The Barbados Community College is offering a new summer course entitled Bridging Maths Course. This course targets secondary school students who have applied to any of the programmes in the Division of Technology. The Bridging Maths Course is designed to help participants transition from CSEC Mathematics to First Year College Mathematics for Technology students.

The Bridging Maths Course is student friendly and interactive. Participants will have the benefit of small class size, which gives the students opportunity to interact with the instructor one-on-one, and the use of individual computers. The course provides students with an early start so that they can hit the ground running at the beginning of the College Year.

The Bridging Maths Course is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 27 and end on Friday, July 29, 2011. We are kindly requesting that you share this information with students who have applied to programmes in the Division of Technology at the Barbados Community College.
