Congratulations to you on satisfying the requirements for the prestigious award of the Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma/Associate Degree/Certificate from the Barbados Community College.
It is now time for us to celebrate together with your family at the annual Graduation Ceremony to commemorate your wonderful achievement. You are allowed to bring a maximum of eight (8) guests. No tickets are required for your guests to attend the ceremony.
Date: Saturday, November 11th, 2023
Time: 5:00 p.m.
Venue: Garfield Sobers Sports Complex
Please be aware that you will be required to be at the Complex by 3:00 p.m. so that the necessary processional and seating arrangements can be made.
Graduation Attire
Graduands are required to wear ceremonial attire consisting of the Barbados Community College’s gown and cape/hood. Underneath the gown, ladies should wear a white or off-white dress while gentleman should wear a white shirt and a dark coloured pants OR a dark coloured suit with a white inside shirt.
Rental of Graduation Attire
Gowns can only be rented from Barbados Community College. All payments should be made directly to the Accounts Department.
Graduation Fee: $340.00
Registration Period: September 27th, 2023 – October 13th, 2023
Gown Collection & Payment Period: October 23rd, 2023 – October 27th, 2023
Collection Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Graduation Protocol
Please Note: Persons are asked to remain seated throughout the Graduation Ceremony unless there is an emergency. Anyone leaving will not be permitted to re-enter.
Returns & Refunds
Gowns and Capes/Hoods must be returned no later than Friday, November 17th, 2023. A cash refund of $40.00 will be issued once all the items have been returned to the College free of damage.
No refunds will be issued after November 17th, 2023.
Collecting your Certificate
All certificates should be collected from December 4th, 2023 from the following locations:
- Bachelor’s Degree and Associate Degree - Student Affairs Office
- Diplomas and BCC Certificates - Registrar’s Office
Photography
