Students are asked to note that the Canadian Government has just announced the opening of the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Programme (ELAP) and Canada-CARICOM scholarships for 2012.

Application forms can be collected from the Office of Student Affairs or the Director, Hospitality Institute.

Eligible students who are desirous of being selected for the scholarships should note that they would require a valid passport that does not expire during the period they would be in Canada.

To be considered for the scholarships students MUST have gained a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or above during the first semester.

The scholarships are open to Barbadian and other students from the CARICOM region.

Completed applications forms should be returned to the office of the Registrar NO LATER than March 19th, 2012.
