The Barbados Community College (BCC) and Delaware State University (DSU), one of the United States’ most prestigious Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), are collaborating to offer Barbadian students a unique opportunity.
By enrolling in the programme, you can earn a bachelor’s degree in either one of the Sciences (Biology, Chemistry or Mathematics) or Agriculture, at no tuition cost to you except for the registration fees at the BCC. The programme will be delivered based on the DSU curriculum, at the end of which, you will graduate with a bachelor’s degree from DSU. Additionally, the programme is uniquely designed to allow you to complete the degree in three years in a hybrid format, physically at BCC and online.
Entry Requirements
For applicants awaiting CSEC results
- Class reports from secondary school (4th and 5th form)
For applicants possessing CSEC results
For the Sciences: A minimum requirement of five (5) CSEC subjects or the equivalent, including Mathematics, English and at least one subject in the area of specialization
For the Agriculture Programme: A minimum of four (4) CSEC subjects or the equivalent, including Mathematics, English, and Agricultural Science
