On Friday 29th May 2026, twelve (12) Barbados Community College (BCC) students participated in the I Am A Girl Financial Literacy Workshop where they engaged in a variety of educational activities focused on investing, financial planning and financial empowerment.

As part of the workshop’s final activity, participants competed for educational scholarships valued at $1,500 BBD each. Among the many participants, including students from other educational institutions, two BCC students emerged as winners of the competition.

We are pleased to congratulate Ms. Kenisha Samuel and Ms. Renika Crichlow, who each earned a $1,500 BBD educational scholarship through their outstanding performance during the workshop.
